Wireframes
Wireframes helped define the overall structure and user journeys early in the process, allowing the team to validate ideas quickly, identify usability issues, and align on key interactions before moving into high-fidelity design.
Design system
I focused on designing an interface that is easy to read, with a simple color palette and universal icons, ensuring usability and clarity through a user-centered approach.

User flows
Created user scenarios to illustrate how different users interact with the product within the context of the project, highlighting their goals, tasks, and expected outcomes. This helped the team better understand user needs, anticipate behaviors, and design more effective, user-centered solutions.

User Research
Wireframes helped define the overall structure and user journeys early in the process, allowing the team to validate ideas quickly, identify usability issues, and align on key interactions before moving into high-fidelity design.

Design process
UX advocate
Conducted Design Thinking sessions with cross-functional teams (stakeholders, developers, business analysts, and QA) to communicate the value of UX and align on business needs.

User Personas
Interviews were key to identifying user needs and establishing a clear starting point for the project.
"Model looks good but I'd like to see more info
about materials"
KEY Findings
After conducting user interviews on the use of 3D models,
we found that users did not understand their purpose.
Even after explaining the functionality, they did not perceive
any real value in the feature. Notably, implementing this
feature would have represented approximately 40% of the
app’s total development time and cost.

Final Designs
Although we removed the main feature, we reduced costs by up to 40%, and usability testing scores increased by 95% in the final evaluations.

Challenge
Delayed communication of on-site issues was causing construction setbacks and poor coordination among stakeholders.
The challenge was to create a tool that allows real-time reporting and visibility for all parties involved.
Key Pain Points
Delayed alerts for missing materials, causing workflow disruptions.
Limited visibility into job site progress.
Insufficient time to reorder materials, leading to delays.
Impact & Outcomes
Up to 40% cost reduction through improved issue management.
Accelerated workflows through efficient report creation and real-time tracking.
Increased stakeholder alignment with clear, real-time visibility into construction progress.
“3D model visualization is the app’s most important feature” - Stakeholders

Dev hand off
Delivered the design system to the development team and led sessions to ensure components were implemented correctly.
